dschool Teaching + Learning Yearbook

Communication Arts: 62nd Design Annual, Award of Excellence

Featured in the 52nd Dallas Show Awards: Stanford d.school Yearbook

Each year the Stanford d.school's Teaching + Learning program publishes a collection of stories and reports to share with its supporters. With events and photos limited due to the pandemic, we instead commissioned photographs of abandoned d.school spaces. Paired with bold typography and a bright color palette, the book captures the power and potential of the team’s innovative methods. Sections are color coded for easy navigation, and each begins with a lush photographic interpretation of the section title.

Book designed in collaboration with Daniel Frumhoff.

Editor in Chief: Carissa Carter.
Content Curation, Data Acquisition/Analysis: Megan Stariha
Photography: Patrick Beaudouin
Section Intro Photography: Naila Ruechel
All of the work is a collective effort made possible by the d.school team, teaching community, and the students.
